A New Family’s Love {Gurnee IL, Newborn Photographer}

 

I could feel it…the minute I walked into their home and saw the smile come over their face when they introduced me to their little guy.

I could feel it…when they held their little guy in their arms and gave him kisses and snuggles.

Love, joy, happiness…  They were new parents learning the ropes of parenthood, not 100% the easy way, if you ask me.  It may have taken them a little longer to bring their little guy home but one thing was for certain, they weren’t taking a single moment for granted as a new little family.

I was asked to capture those first few moments of being a new family.  A task I adore and don’t take lightly.  The task at hand is really about…how do you capture a parent’s love 9+ months in the making?

Sweet Baby Girl {Wisconsin Photographer}

This little girl was just 14 days old and as cute as a button!  Her newborn portraits were a blast to take and watching her be so interested in her surroundings really reminded me how we take something like the sun shining through the window on a Spring day for granted.  This little girl was just infatuated with her surroundings and I’m pretty sure her parents will have a very inquisitive little girl on their hands in a few years.  I can’t wait to see this little girl grow up!

Dove Girls {Illinois Photographer}

A few weekends ago I got the pleasure of visiting with three sisters.  The eldest two had just welcomed their newest little sister into their family a few weeks ago.  You could tell from the minute you encountered these three girls that they were full of energy.  The greatest part about spending time with the family was seeing how each girl really had her own personality no matter how old or young she was…  The first born was truly the big sister and everyone looked up to her.   The middle one was the funny girl and made everyone laugh.  And the little one, the newest one, was the laid back one who would just go along with the flow.  During my entire visit the little one only cried for a few seconds because of an outfit just not feeling great on her…could any woman blame her for being upset over that?  One thing is for sure…no matter what life brings these three they will always have each other!Illinois baby photographer lake countyIllinois baby photographer lake countyIllinois baby photographer lake countyIllinois child photographer lake countyIllinois child photographer lake county

Baby Luke {Menomonee Falls Baby Photographer}

New babies have a way to fill a family with overwhelming love, joy and pure happiness.  Baby Luke is no exception and the family he has is quite smitten by him…trust me, after spending some time with them you could feel the love surrounding this cute little boy.  It’s hard to tell who loves him more…Mom, Dad, Big Brother J or Cousin L.  It seemed as though Baby Luke was taking in every moment around him: his big brother helping feed him, his mommy kissing him, holding his daddy’s hand and his cousin L just loving him like crazy.  This little man definitely has no shortness of love surrounding him.
