Pretty Little Princess {Lake County IL, Newborn Photographer}

This little princess was so adorable it was hard to contain myself in selecting what photos to share with you!  Before we get to the princess do you remember this adorable little couple with their puppy? Yeah…now you can see what I mean with having a hard time selecting photos.  This little peanut was so good during our time together. I love when parents add a personal touch or two to their session.  This can be in the form of a family blanket or dad’s hockey jersey! This little lady already has daddy wrapped around her little finger.  But can you really blame him… Oh…and don’t worry…fur brother also got into the family photo action!

Sweet New Baby Girl H {Racine WI, Newborn Photographer}

How adorable is this little lady? She was just amazing during our time together and her parents are simply just as cute! Mommy happens to work at the college I graduated from a few years ago (ok so maybe like 10 years ago…crazy how fast time flies.) so you know she has to have pretty cool parents.

I love styling a session and picking out the colors that look the best on the new little one…along with colors that mommy and daddy (or really more like just mommy) like. I really  believe that this little lady would look beautiful in everything…but the purple with her sweet creamy skin was just too much!  She was just so peaceful during our time together.

Turning 3 Months Old {Lake County IL Newborn Photographer}

It’s so mind boggling that the little babies I photograph start to grow up!  I know I just saw this little guy for his 6 month session but I can’t forget to share how adorable he was at 3 months! Want to know a few fun facts about this little guy?

1. He is in love with his Big Sister and simply loves to watch her.
2. He has the big type of grin that causes his eyes to squint.
3. He is so happy go lucky…just spend a few minutes with him and you’ll day will be a little brighter!

Snuggly Sweet Newbie {Lake County IL, Newborn Photographer}

This little lady was such a treat to work with during our time together.  She was super calm and I think really enjoyed the warmth and coziness of her little session.  She also was a natural with everything we did.  It’s fun to see how in love her big sister was with her…pure adoration!  Mom and Dad were pretty smitten too…but I mean look at her…how could you not be?!?!

Unexpected {Lake County IL, Newborn Photographer}

Photo sessions are always exciting.  You never know how the baby will be or if the older siblings will be up for snuggling with their little sibling. It’s the thrill of working my baby skills that get me excited for every session.  But this little guy had quite an unexpected thing happen during his session!  During his session we encountered a crazy storm that caused a power outage.  I’ve never had that happen before and there really wasn’t anything my baby skills could do to get the power back on.  Thankfully though, we were able to reschedule some extra photo time and captured some pretty awesome family photos.
